Public school/breaking ground

So as you all know we have been very busy, both Bill and I are now working full time and we just started breaking ground on our cabin/workshop.

You all know how much I like to homeschool our kids. We just haven't had the time to give the kids everything they deserve right now. So we sat down and had a family meeting and asked the kids if they would like to keep homeschooling or try public school. They all voted to try school. So last week I went to enroll them, since we live on an island they had to be TB tested first. We got that taken care of and all the paperwork turned into the schools. Tomorrow my younger two will start school and on Wednesday Billy will start school. They will ride the bus to and from, which I very new to all of them since we have always taken them. There is a lot of mixed feelings, we do have a lot going on right now. So this is the best option for now. I know they will be just fine.

Back to the build, we decided to build our workshop/cabin first. It will be 16X24 and have two windows and one door. This way will can move out of the tents and be in a dry place. Once we have that done (goal is by Feb, hoping the weather will be good and then it will be done sooner) then we will start on the house. Once we get moved to our property we will start the garden and plant fruit trees.

It is so nice to see process!!!!! Slowly but surely our plans our working out.
