I know it's been while since I have updated everyone.
We have made it to Hawaii. It is so beautiful and has the most beautiful flowers and plants that I have ever seen. There is beautiful beaches and great hiking.
I have some great news we have both found jobs! And I start working in a few days! I know it will never be South Meadows but I will do great there, just excited to start.
We have found that camping has its great times and it's challenging times. The hardest thing for us at this time, is that we are not on our own land. We are thankful for our friends for letting us set up camp. We are ready to be on own land! We have gotten most the trees removed and we have found we have so much dirt.(which I know might be hard to understand) with all the rain we get, basically we have a lot of mud. Since we have mud we must bring in rock and a lot of it! We have ordered yard fabric,(it's on back order for two weeks) once we get the fabric we can order rock. We have two trees that we need to have cut down before anything can happen. Where these trees are there is potentially a lot of risk of them falling. If these tress fall they can land on power lines or the power station that is next to us, our house or cars. Once we get the tress cut down, then well lay out the rock. Then we will get started on a temporary house. This will be a place to stay that won't be tents and it will be dry. Once that is done then we will start on our house. Things are very different then back home. We are learning as we go!
Things here are so different. You either live off grid or you dont. We plan on living off grid. Which means we have solar power, we catch our water from the sky and we compost our toilets. If you need more information or have questions please ask.
Here is to the simple life and living in Hawaii!!!! 🌺🌴🌋🌅⛺🌊🌈💧
