Part one of the move!

We have decided that the boys will be moving first to get things started. I will be staying and working here till our house sells. We will need to take a day trip to Oakland to drop off the truck to ship it before they fly out. And then a week later they will fly out and start our life in Hawaii! Once the house sells then I will be having a moving party! Once the container gets here we will have two hours to load before they start charging $50 an hour. And once the container leaves Kaylie and I will drive to Oakland and then fly out the next day. Our dog will be staying behind for a short time and then she will fly out. Due to the rules for moving with pets.

One step forward and two steps backwards

The house is back on the market. It has now gone in escrow twice in the last month and both buyers have backed out. So we are still here. 😞 Hopefully the next offer will be it! We are so ready to this to happen. Everything happens for a reason and it will for us someday. I just wanted to update everyone. Thank you for all you support!😉

Waiting for Thursday

We are in escrow and the appraisal is at 9am on the 16th. The buyer wants the house to close soon. The closing date for now is July 21. We are getting so close to making the biggest move we will ever make.
We have been ordering all of our supplies
Tents, water containers, flash lights, camping toilet and a solar generator. We have started packing and donating things we will not need. Like winter clothes and toys the kids are to old for. We are so excited we get a chance to have adventure like this. Thank you all for the support. I will miss you all so much!😞

We have accepted an offer!

We got two offers today and we had to pick one. We went with the one with the better terms. If everything goes as planned we could be in Hawaii in July!

The house is on the market!

Once the house sells, we will be buying our one way tickets! Shipping our stuff and cars! I can not wait to see Hawaii!

The Move is here!!!!!

There as been some life changing events happen in the last few months. We have decided that this is the best time to make the move we have been planning on since 2012.  We are going to be basically camping while we build our house. We are very excited for the next chapter in our lives!! I cant wait to get there and start living a new way and learning how live off our land. I know some of you think we are crazy, but that is okay! We are a bit crazy! We only have one life to live, I want to most of it!!!!! Wish us luck!! I will be posting more details as they come in! Plans have changed

Things did not work out for us to move to Hawaii this year. So we bought our first house here in our home town. We are planning the big move in the summer of 2018. Thank you for your support.
